    Question Unanswered: Db21034e

    Hi,

    Please help me. I have created a table with decimal(5,5).

    But am unable to insert the vaule 1.12345.It shows error like that

    DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a
    valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned:
    SQL0413N Overflow occurred during numeric data type conversion.
    SQLSTATE=22003

    Please publish your DB2 version/release/fixpack and platform OS.

    And, describe your issue more concretly.
    CREATE TABLE statement and INSERT statement are mandatory, from my point of view.

    In the specification decimal(5,5) that means the total number of digits is five, and the number of digits to the right of decimal is also 5. You would need at least decimal(6,5) to store that value, although I suspect you want decimal(10,5).
