    Unanswered: Full-text indexing rules

Hi, I'm running DB2 9.5 and Net search extender. The indexed column is a CLOB. Though I don't specify a format, in fact it is HTML.

Here's my issue: I get no hits if I search for a two-digit number in text. For example, I save "I'm gonna cry 96 tears, or maybe 196" and update the index. A search for "196" finds the row, but a search for "96" does not.

So I am looking for any ways to control how the indexing is done, but there I have come up blank. I did locate a stopword list, but it has no numeric strings in it.

Does anyone know what this is about?

    Thanks!

    Never mind

Please pay no attention to this. I should have used native SQL to check this out before posting it. Instead I trusted the application program that creates the SQL. Sorry!
