    Format number thousands separator with point
    Hi there, I need your help.

    I have this number in my database output result of query:
    1013473

    I need this output: 1.013.473

    Can you help me?

    if you're on sql server 2012, you can use the FORMAT() function

    so, do you have a front end language that connects to your database? vb? c#? perl?

    because that's where formatting should really take place

    You don't format your data in the database. You format it when it is presented, in the interface.
    If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.
