Is the dump made using compressing? What is de command used to make the striped dump, and what command do you use to load it?

We don't compressed the backup. I used this command to dump/load the database

    dump database COMMON to 'd:\backup\COMMON_s1.dmp'
    stripe on 'd:\backup\COMMON_s2.dmp'
    stripe on 'd:\backup\COMMON_s3.dmp'

    load database COMMON from 'd:\backup\COMMON_s1.dmp'
    stripe on 'd:\backup\COMMON_s2.dmp'
    stripe on 'd:\backup\COMMON_s3.dmp'

    any ideas? tnx

Your database probably has some issues regardless of this dump and loadproblem.
I'd do a dbcc-check on the database and fix any issues that may come up.

    error loading dump database

    tnx for reply,

most probably the issue here is the dump file. most likely the recent backup is corrupt.

That is also possible, but before you try to troubleshoot the dumpfile, make sure your database is consistent and working properly. do a dbcc-check, if that turns out good you can try to make a newdump and load it.
Dumping a corrupt database doesn't get resolved by making a new dumpfile. you'll keep getting errors.
