Unanswered: DB2 RECOVER DATABASE - Number of sessions

I am running DB2 RECOVER DATABASE command. In my setup I find that, DB2 is using the maximum number of sessions used for any previous backup of the database with the vendor library, for this recover operation as well.

Example: If the database was backed up using say maximum 8 sessions earlier(OPEN <#NUM> SESSIONS), then when I run db2 recover database command, I find that DB2 uses 8 sessions with the vendor library.

How can I force DB2 to use only ONE session for db2 recovery operation?

Use separate RESTORE and ROLLFORWARD commands.
"It does not work" is not a valid problem statement.
