Unanswered: DB2 + MPP environment issue

    Hi all,

I am a newbie for DB2 partition and MPP environment:

In our setup we have two development Redhat linux boxes:

    Followed steps:

Db2 v9.7 fixpack 4 has been installed for the two boxes.

For the 2nd box by using response file, db2 has been installed.

    Redhat packages like:
    ---------------------
    pdksh,rsh, nfs are installed properly

    1) Started the NFS
    2) Enable rsh for the two boxes
    3) configuring the NFS server
    4) configuring the NFS client

    Everything done properly

But i had faced a issue:
    ------------------------

    [db2inst1@vrdtisdbhcl01 root]$ db2_all date

/bin/ksh[1]: .[1]: ./db2home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2profile: not found [No such file or directory]
    Thu Sep 13 21:47:10 EST 2012
    vrdtisdbhcl01: date completed ok

/bin/ksh[1]: .[1]: ./db2home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2profile: not found [No such file or directory]
    Thu Sep 13 21:47:11 EST 2012
    vrdtisdbhcl01: date completed ok

/bin/ksh[1]: .[1]: ./db2home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2profile: not found [No such file or directory]
    Thu Sep 13 21:47:11 EST 2012
    vrdtisdbhcl02: date completed ok

I am able to rsh everything why this error will occured:

/bin/ksh[1]: .[1]: ./db2home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2profile: not found [No such file or directory]

Could you please help on this issue?

    Thanks,
    laxman

You need a space between the dot and the first slash:

    Code:
    . /db2home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2profile

try to give a complete path instead of relative and see if it works for you.
