    Unanswered: Oracle Database 11g R2 enterprise manager configuration warnings

    I have tried installing Oracle Database 11g R2 numerous times but it always finish with database configuration assistant warning.

    Error starting database control,Please execute following command(s).

    1) Set the environment variable ORACLE_UNQNAME to database unique name.

    2) E:\app\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\bin\emctl.bat
    Start dbconsole

    i have already set the environment variable of ORACLE_HOSTNAME AND ORACLE_UNQNAME .
    and installed lopback adapter

    So what error do you get when you run 'E:\app\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\bin\emctl.bat'?
    And when you start the dbconsole?
    90% of users' problems can be resolved by punching them - the other 10% by switching off their PCs.

    it shows "Oracle instance already running",when start dbconsole from services.msc it gives error"windows cannot start application"

    In Windows Services, change the DBConsole to start automatically then reboot the server & let us know what happens.
    90% of users' problems can be resolved by punching them - the other 10% by switching off their PCs.

    dbconsole already set to start automatically but it services not start with PC

    Does this mean you HAVE rebooted the server? Also, what OS (including version) are you using, and what version of Oracle - 32bit or 64bit?

    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit(6.1,build 7600)
    Oracle database 11g 32 bit
