    Unanswered: recovery

    There is a hidden parameter _ALLOW_RESETLOGS_CORRUPTION=TRUE which will allow us to open database even though its not properly recovered.

    ALTER SYSTEM SET "_allow_resetlogs_corruption"= TRUE SCOPE = SPFILE;

    Tip: Also change the undo_management to “Manual”

    why should we change the undo_management to “Manual” ??? after ALLOW_RESETLOGS_CORRUPTION=TRUE

    AFAIK You only need to change undo_management to 'manual' if you encounter a corrupt UNDO tablespace problem when trying to open the database using the hidden parameter. If the UNDO tablespace isn't corrupt then leave it alone.
    90% of users' problems can be resolved by punching them - the other 10% by switching off their PCs.
