    Database server = DB2/LINUXX8664 9.7.4
    SQL authorization ID = DB2INST1

    [db2inst1@vrptisdbhcl03 ~]$ db2 list utilities show detail

It is not an error, it is a warning (SQL1611W, W = Warning).

You got the message because no utilities are currently run on your instance.

    Hi peter,

    Thanks for your reply.

    How to avoid this warning?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

The warning is not shown as soon as there are active utilities on the instance (i.e. RUNSTATS, BACKUP, etc.). If there are no active utilities, the warning is shown to inform about the fact. This command works just like this...
