Unanswered: Issue with restore the database

    Hi,

In our setup db2v9.7 with fixpack 4

    Backup taken successfully:
    ===================

[db2inst2@vrptisdbhcl03 ~]$ db2 backup db CN ON ALL DBPARTITIONNUMS to /db2prod/temp
    Part Result
    ---- ------------------------------------------------------------------------
0000 DB20000I The BACKUP DATABASE command completed successfully.

Backup successful. The timestamp for this backup image is : 20121011221033

I tried to restore the backup in another database I am getting the below error:

[db2inst2@vrptisdbhcl03 ~]$ db2 restore db CN taken at 20121011221033 to /db2prod/data/CS/ into CS redirect generate script res_CS_CS.sql

SQL2542N No match for a database image file was found based on the source
database alias "CN" and timestamp "20121011221033" provided.

Could you please give the solution how to restore the database?

    Thanks,
    laxman.

    to /db2prod/temp
are you in this path for the restore, you don't specify the path
from . or from to /db2prod/temp

    Hi guy,

    Thanks for you reply.

CN database was created on /db2prod/data

I took the backup of CN database to /db2prod/temp (succesfull)

After that, I am trying to restore the CN database to CS database

    I am getting the error.

    Thanks
