Unanswered: upgrade oracle 10g2 standalon to 11g2 RAC

Hi I am not sure if this is the right place for this but I am doing a upgrade from 10g2 standalone (with out ASM) to 11g2 2 node cluster (on ASM) and the database is some what 1TB of the size. My problem is if I do a export and import the live system need to be down for over an a day. is there a better way of doing this and how

    Thanks in advance

    Best Regards

Hi to any one that may run in to the same issue we can use below options

    1. export and import (consumes long time)
    2. Data guard (but need to be in the same versions and need EE licensing)
    3. RMAN (but need to upgrade the old instant to be in the same level)
    4. Any other way please I would like to now!

    Thanks and best Regards

Another way is using transportable tablespaces, I have successfully used it but have not tried with ASM.
