What else should a DBA (Or Dev) look at? (Besides RDMS)
So with so many "easier to use" no-sql and distributed database management systems and such I worry about the future for DBAs....but Job postings show tons of Positions for Database Devs/Admins.
So with what will eventually be a "slowing down" of RDMS's in the future as new technology comes out, what should an Aspiring Database Developer be looking into?
(Im a CS Grad with 2 years working as a Firmware Engineer (Mostly C/Java/Python) But Databases have always been an interest of Mine. But Im also worried about The Storm of Newer Database technologies coming out (essentially Im worried about going into something that will get replaced with "easy" to use software where a Database dev/admin won't be specifically needed.
