We have tables and triggers what we created.
Can any one please respond steps. Its urgent

    When I follow this script
    db2 deactivate database TESTDB
db2 backup db TESTDB to "/home/db2inst1/testdbbak"
    db2 activate database TESTDB

when deactivate script fired the responce is deacivated successfully but users can able to connect.
when i fire backup it throwing db is in use.

you have taken an offline backup at a moment in time
after you restore to new db - their might be rows added in old db that will not be present in new db
if db are enabled for logrecovery you could leave the new db in rollforward mode - and at the final moment - copy log files from old-db to new db location and rollforward complete

Rollforward is not supported from one version to the next. You cannot take V9 logs and rollforward them on a V10 database.

To do this migration, you are going to have to have some down time, unless you use replication.

Your best bet is to take the down time.

    1) Force off users and quiesce V9 instance
    2) offline backup V9 database
    3) Restore to V10
    4) change users to use V10 DB
    5) retire V9
