SUMMARY: Responsibility will be to interact and consult with users at all levels within the company to review, analyze, evaluate, extend and support our Oracle E-Business Suite system and user needs. This is a hands-on position, and responsibilities will include system design and specifications, development, testing and production support. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who enjoys a challenge, who can work with minimal supervision, who can take a project from inception through completion, and who enjoys variety in his or her day. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who likes to work with all aspects of an ERP system as you will not be tied to one functional area. The ideal candidate will develop custom objects, provide production support for various Oracle Applications and develop business intelligence reports using Oracle Discoverer 11g.


Create and maintain new data models as well as update systems currently in place

Develop new and update existing database objects for use in production environment

Develop business intelligence solutions using Oracle Discoverer 11g

Participate in code review meetings and unit test developed code in test environment

Responsible for building, supporting and maintaining interfaces to and from Oracle E-Business Suite

Customize Oracle Workflow to meet business requirements

Provide production support for various Oracle Applications, including but not limited to, Approvals Management, CRM, Discrete Manufacturing, Financials, HRMS, Installed Base, Inventory, Order Management, Service Contracts and TeleService

Actively participate in team meetings and author how-to documents and knowledge base articles for various developer related tasks



Previous experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 a major plus

Ability to customize Oracle standard reports using Oracle Reports 10g and create new custom reports to meet functional business requirements using Oracle Discoverer 11g

Complete understanding of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 architecture and underlying table structures a major plus

Highly proficient in SQL, PL/SQL programming, Java, Oracle Discoverer 10g/11g, tuning stored procedures and views, OAF extensions, Unix shell scripting, forms personalization and BI (XML) Publisher

In-depth knowledge and experience with Oracle Workflow and other development tools including Oracle Forms and Reports 10g, BPEL, JDeveloper and Toad


Ability to skillfully react and adapt to a fluid and changing work environment

Interpersonal and leadership skills to work effectively with staff and managers

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team oriented environment

Strong data analysis skills

Past Oracle Applications experience a must

Experience with change management procedures a must

Knowledge of SOX compliance a must

Demonstrated knowledge of industry standard tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access

Bachelor's degree in area of specialty is desired or at least 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area

Professional certifications (Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus
