    Unanswered: Please Help Here !!!!

    How to find the total number of tables in a database in SQL Server and Oracle
    let me know how to write the query...

    This is the MySQL forum I suggest you ask to have this changed to either Oracle or SQL Server.

    As for your question, Oracle provides USER_TABLES view which will list off all the tables in your own schema.

    SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM USER_TABLES will give you all the tables in your schema.

    In SQL Server you can achieve the same thing accessing the sys.Tables view.

    When you post your next question, you need to use an appropriate title - "please help here" is pretty much worthless as almost every topic is asking for help . . .
