Job Position: Database Administrator

Duration: 3 Months

Job Description:

· Upgrade existing finance databases

· Analyze the two Access databases of finance data, and design a single database that meets the needs of both units

· Build automated processes using VBA to convert and clean raw finance data and upload it to the new database

· Build additional DART finance reports in Excel

· Create additional finance reports in the existing DART for Staffing/Finance

· Build new financial reporting tools using the DART template and standards

· Develop charts for data display in addition to tables for DART Staffing/Finance

· Automate update of the new reports and charts

· Re-build the “district-schools” Excel tool to conform to the new DART template and standards in Excel

· Set up data and formulas to populate reports using the DART template and standards

· Add charts for key reports

· Automate updates of the new reports and charts

· Redesign data exporting Access database

· Expand existing data export tool from single-user to multi-user

· Create test environment to ensure existing data export tool is ready for multiple users

· Write documentation and provide training

· Write documentation of the standards, methods and processes

· Train key internal staff on using the new database
