    Conversion from DB2 to Oracle

    Hi,
I would like to migrate a DB2 database to Oracle without using the Oracle PL SQL Developer migration tool. I would like to use some batch scripts to achieve the same. Is it possible to convert DB2 scripts to Oracle specific scripts by using some commands from CLP?
    Thanks in advance,
    Fighter

    what is "CLP"?
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.

CLI maybe? He's wanting to use manual created scripts rather than a migration tool. I'm assuming he meant 'CLI'.

In the future please be more vague describing what you have & what you want to make providing answers & solutions more challenging.
Since we don't know your Operating System name or version, it is difficult to know what is available via the "CLI".
What exactly do you expect or desire to be the output/results?
Does DB2 have the ability to produce DDL & DML that reflects the existing application?

The DB2 version I have is DB2 v9.5.0.5 (Fixpack 5). The Oracle version I have is Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition 11.2.0.2.0. DB2 offers command line tools which helps us in extracting the DDLs of all the entities in the DB2 database.DB2 also offers tools to create INSERT statements in DB2 language. Now, I have to convert this DB2 specific insert statements into Oracle specifc Insert statements. In fact, we can assume that the schema in Oracle is already present. So the requirement is to move the data from DB2 to Oracle using SQLPlus commands.
    Thanks,
