Unanswered: How can I automatically populate Fields based on Combo selection?

On frmIncome of the attached database is a Combobox asking for the ContractID.

How do I get frmIncome to automatically show the below 17 Fields when ContractID has been chosen?

    ContractID
    StartDate
    EndDate
    MonthlyRent
    CommissionPercent

    RenterID
    RenterName1
    Phone1

    PropertyID
    ApartmentNumber
    BuildingName
    StreetName
    TownName
    CityName

    OwnerID
    OwnerName1
    Phone1
    Attached Files Attached Files
What would you attempt to do if you knew you would not fail?

thanks for the link - you have described the situiation well.

I want to "display" the data only (like your example of showing the phone number on the Orders form).

I want to display 17 fields (based on the selection of one combo).
So would I have to create 17 text boxes and make sure each text box has the correct control source?

If so, then I would have to make sure I never changed the layout of the query because all the "autofill" data in the text boxes would be messed up?

Yes, you would need 17 text boxes. You could add new fields to the end of the row source query, but obviously if you changed anything else you'd throw off the column numbers of existing items. In that event you'd just have to edit the text boxes though, so not a major problem.
