Question Unanswered: How to create a database in DB2

I want to create a database in DB2.
I found some information on this page

I want to use only some options which are explained on the page. These are PAGESIZE, CODESET, TABLE SPACE and then I want to add/configure the bufferpools.

How should the create sql look like?

    CRAETE DATABASE myDatabase
    USING CODESET UTF-8 TERRITORY US
    COLLATE USING SYSTEM PAGESIZE 8192

CATALOG TABLESPACE 16K -- Is the 16K ok?
USER TABLESPACE 16K -- Is the 16K ok?
TEMPORARY TABLESPACE 16K; -- Is the 16K ok?

    you could use
    COLLATE USING SYSTEM PAGESIZE 16384
this will generate db with syscatspace/userspace1/tempspace/default bufferpool with pagesize 16K
you can create any bp/ts with any pagesize after this..

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
