    recover tablespace

    Hi All,

    Can anyone tell me, at what are all conditions, we can usually go for drop and recreate the tablespce.?

    Different reasons - one is to change the page size.

    Thanks much, is that like we need to change the parameters like PCTFREE AND FREEPAGE while creating tablespace.

    Correct me ,if i am wrong.

    You need to specify which DB2 version and operating system. There are multiple DB2 products for various platforms and they are not the same with regard to tablespaces.

    Db2 version 9 and Z/OS .

    You can specify PCTFREE and FREEPAGE when creating a tablespace and after it has been created. See:
