Unhappy Unanswered: Please help if you can :)

    Hi All,

I'm struggling to get my head around to do this:

I have one table Purchase Order and 1 called supplier. The supplier table has a list of all the suppliers addresses we buy from.

When on the purchase order form there is a drop down list in which you select a supplier, and this gives the ID of the supplier.

Basically I want to be able to run a query that looks up the number put onto the form for 1 purchaseorder and to pull the supplier from the supplier table without being asked to input the supplier name. This is for a Purchase Order report as the final outcome.

IS there a way to do this? Sorry if I'm repeating someone elses post I just wasnt sure what to search for.

    you can do this
as a JOINED query that provides the source for the form/report
as a specific lookup query in a form or report
I'd suggest amednign the query for the form or reprot to include the supplier details.
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
