    Teradata ping

    First experince on Teradata Server....
    I ned to ping a Teradata server in my lan.
    Wich info i need to ping the Teradata server?

    If you mean a TCP/IP ping, all you need is the IP Address or the DNS name.

    If you are looking for something different, you'll need to be a smidgeon more specific.

    Infact, i need to know the IP Address or the DNS name.
    Where is this info, i can found where?, how to get it?

    Talk with whoever supports the Teradata environment.

    They should be able to provide either or both the ip/address and the DNS name (if there is a DNS name).
