    Angry DISA STIGs

Anybody having to deal with this stuff?

nothing but the Key, so help me Codd."

    My condolences.

STIGs rarely intrude in SQL Server, although they are common in the *ix world.

I wish they got a more knowledgeable team to write them.

If you examine them from a historical perspective, STIGs are indirectly but still largely based on formal military documents. Those documents have been largely impenetrable since the dawn of recorded history. You're fighting the nature of the beast and the culture that begat it... Good luck with that!

Having fought that battle more than once, you'll find the deepest understanding in a counter-intuitive place... Talk with the quartermaster, they are the ones that actually understand the important parts of STIGs and know how to work the system in order to make them work properly.
