    Unanswered: db2optstats.0.log file in db2dump folder


    what is db2optstats.0.log file in db2dump/events ?

    For every five minutues its writing something like ..

    Is it a problem or error ? I dont have any idea about that file

    This log is generated by having auto-stats turned on. This is not an issue, and DB2 writes to the logs in a round-robin fashion so you should not have a space issue. You get entries in this log for both synchronous and asynchronous runstats being run. Take a look at the following:
