Unanswered: SQL Server & Trigger on Linked Tables

We created a Linked Server with the tables required ON Db2 Server .
Now we need to create a trigger (Insert, Update) on one of the linked tables in order to Insert the new or updated data from the linked table into one of our db table.

How Can I do That , please help !

Ask the DB2 DBA to create a trigger in the DB2 database. You can't do anything from the SQL Server that will help with this particular problem, although you might be able to get creative with SSIS and work around it other ways.

Call or email the DB2 DB2. Ask them to create (or have one of their developers create) as trigger that will do what you need.

SQL Server can't create a trigger on a linked server. A linked server is presumably on another machine, and in this case it is an entirely different database engine/product.

You'll have to get the administrator on the DB2 system to help you with this.
