    • Restore from last known good backup
    • Create a new blank Access file and import the objects from the corrupt one

having a proven good backup strategy, nothing better to help a developer / DBA sleep soundly at night
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

Before you do anything else, make a backup copy of the file and put it somewhere safe! Only try the above or other recovery options with a 'disposable' copy.

There are data recovery specialists, but the generally come with hefty fees; it all depends on how important this data is to you. If you need to go this route, just google

    +"data recovery" +"MS Access"

I'd examine what each service promises; some of them come with a 'no data recovered/no fee' promise.

And as you've already figured out, daily backups are essential for critical data!

Why do not backup your database?
Now learn from the lesson and make a habit to backup your database regularly. It is only the best solution to avoid any data loss.

If you think database is corrupted then try third party Access repair software. There are so many data recovery companies that claim they can recover data from corrupt MS Access database. Download the demo version and scan your file and see what can they do for you.
