    Unanswered: rollback procdedure from 9.7 to 9.5

    Hi all,
    i have migrated db2 from 9.7 to 9.5 in AIX environment, now i wnat rollback to 9.5

    intially i think we have rename the sqllib9.5 to sqllib and apart from this wat i have to do ????

    There is no simple way to move back from 9.7 to 9.5.

    This is because of architectural changes to the catalog tables, and DB2 going from 6 byte LSNs to 8 byte LSNs also changes any new data pages and any pages that have been updated since the migration to 9.7.

    To move back, look at the db2move utility, or manually extract the DDL and data and rebuild the database in 9.5.
