    Unanswered: db2relocatedb on windows

    OS: Windows
    DB2: V9.5 fixpack 6

    I have this reloctedb.cfg

    DB_NAME=TESTDB
    DB_PATH=c:
    INSTANCE=DB2
    CONT_PATH=G:\DB2\NODE0000\SMDB\T0000004\,C:\DB2\NO DE0000\SMDB\T0000004\

    I have this error

    C:\TEMP>db2relocatedb -f relocatedb.cfg
    DBT1006N Filen/enheden "C:\DB2\NODE0000\SQLDBDIR\SQLDBDIR" kan ikke åbnes.

    I have checked that file C:\DB2\NODE0000\SQLDBDIR\SQLDBDIR does exist and can read using the current user.

    Anything I am doing wrong there? Thanks

    Can it be read and written to by the ID that runs the DB2 service?

    Thanks for the reply.

    I did "type c:\db2\xxx". So am I right saying that I should be able to open the file?

    Thanks.

    Thanks. I didn't manage to do that way, but I did do in another way. The problem I had was due to not enough disk spaces for the restore---which is very silly of me. I should have checked before. Well, I have learn the lesson now.

    Thanks for helping indeed.
