    Unanswered: db2 backup include logs

    Hi
    using db2v9.5 on aix 6.1

    i have taken backup on test server using

    -->db2 BACKUP DATABASE PRD ONLINE <PATH> OPEN 4 SESSIONS BUFFER 1024 INCLUDE LOGS

    BACKUP completed.

    I tried to restore only logs from that backup image, but normal restore is happening
    The restore command -

    db2 " restore db PRD logs from <path> taken at <timestamp> logtarget /db2/PRD/logs "

    how can i check wether backup file has logs or not ?
    how can i restore only logs in to specified path ?

    according the doc..
    LOGS : This keyword is specified to restore only the set of log files contained in the backup image. If the backup image does not contain any log files, the restore operation will fail. If this option is specified, the LOGTARGET option must also be specified.
    no restore db is executed only restore of logs
    do not use regular logpath for logtarget

    Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
    Spoon feeding : To treat (another) in a way that discourages independent thought or action, as by overindulgence.
