Unanswered: Help on DB2 cnnection issue

    Hi All,

I am trying to add database to control center (ISERIES DATABASE COMMUNICATION SETUP) through configuration assistance.

I have Sample DB2 DB in Windows 7 OS. I am facing below error:

Can anyone tell what could be the probable cause?

SQL30081N A communication error has been detected. Communication protocol being used: "TCP/IP". Communication API being used: "SOCKETS". Location where the error was detected: "10.0.98.11". Communication function detecting the error: "connect". Protocol specific error code(s): "10061", "*", "*". SQLSTATE=08001

    Thanks,
    SKT

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
