Unanswered: Connect remotely to Access db

In our small office we have a split Access database on a server and it is accessed by about six people in the office. Now we are going to need to have 4 additional people connect remotely from home to the database. I know Access isn't made for this, so my question is what would be the easiest/most economical solution? Do we need to migrate to some version of SQL Server? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just to clarify your situation, does each user have a copy of the Front End on his/her PC, or are they all accessing a single Front End that also resides on the server?

Albert Kallal has an often quoted article on the subject of WANs/Remote Connections being used in conjunction with MS Access:

    MS Access on a WAN?

    Hope this helps!

The problem with making anything foolproof...is that fools are so darn ingenious!

They all access the single front end on the server.
