    Unanswered: alter table space large

    Hello,

Can someone verified if the below statements are correct ?

If you just run the alter tablespace to large command on a 4 page table space it:
    1. Increases the limit for the 4 page table space to 64 TB.
    2. The limit for each table stays at 64 GB unless reorged.

    Thanks

    about first statement :
if your page size is 4 kb then you can go upto 2 TB.
If your page size is 32 kb then only you can reach upto 16 TB limit.
    please find the limits
IBM DB2 9.7 Information Center for Linux, UNIX, and Windows

About statement 2 after converting of tables you need to reorganized indexes to support Large RIDs, if you will not do same restrictions on the size will be same. After reorganizing indexes you can take advantage of max limit, But for more rows on a page than 255, you would need to convert the existing table with an offline table reorg.
