    Unanswered: MySQL Help

    Hello!

    I need your help guys!

I have a folder called WFBD

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.6\data\WFBD

On this folder I have 25,3 GB of data. Files like:

    typetbl.frm
    typetbl.MYI
    typetbl.MYD

I was using MySQL Workbench to visualize the tables. Then I used MS Access with a OBDC connection to import the tables to Access.

Now when i try to use the MySQL workbench and query the database, it says this:

    SELECT * FROM WFBD.typeltbl LIMIT 0, 1000 --> Error Code 1017. Can't find file ".\WFBD\typetbl.frm' (emm: 13 - Permission Denied)

Please tell me how can I visualize the tables, I need to use the data to calculate some values..

    Thank you in advance!

permission denied suggest that something else may have a lock on the table (check Access isn't still running)
cant find file coudl also suggest the path isn't correct
    instead of specifying
    .\WFBD\typetbl.frm
use the fully qualified file name
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.6\data\WFBD\typetbl.frm
as the .\WFBD\typetbl.frm refers to a relative path.

find what is causing the problem...

it could be a permissions issue
it could be that another app has got a lock on the file (hence why I asked was Access still running)
it could be because you have used a partial path to the original file rtather than the fully qualified path to the file inside workbench

    Access is closed.

I did not change the path of the original file.

I just copy the folder to the MySQL data folder. I can query all databases inside the data folder but this particular one i can't.
