    Unanswered: high memory/CPU consumption

    Hi all,
    I'm using DB2 10.1.2 ESE on Linux.

On the Linux machine DB2 is consuming 3 GB RAM and CPU is stuck 99% on db2sysc.

What's the best way to understand what's causing this issue?

    Thanks!

Use db2top or "select ... from sysibmadm.mon_current_sql order by total_cpu_time"

"It does not work" is not a valid problem statement.

Use db2top to get information on what processes are running and CPU consumption
If you don't see anything obvious there,
    Code:
    db2pd -edus interval=10
will show you which edu/thread consumed the most CPU in the 10 sec interval and tie it back to the db2 application or an internal process.

For memory also, you can use db2top.
