    I'm running DB2 along with IBM WCS in RHEL 5. My file system due to some error got in Read-only file system mode. So server wasn't able to start so the db2. tried to fix using different ways. But couldn't fix the file system. So to the back up of /opt and formatted the file system and restore the back. after that file system error is not cleared. other servers are good. but DB2 giving this error. so i googled and came up this knowledge. I don't know about db2 administration. I need help in detail to fix this issue.

    The messages you pasted is not enough, please perform the following:

    - rename existing db2diag.log
    - connect to wcs_cmp
    - attached newly created db2diag.log here

    Check the transaction logs in the active log directory and make sure they're owned by the instance owner id.

    Looks like one of the log files is corrupted. You need to restore the database from a backup.

    "It does not work" is not a valid problem statement.

    As per your log, problem is with object : Obj: {pool:2;obj:5636;type:0}

    You can contact PMR Team, I am not sure how to decode diag log.
    Immediate solution restore database and do recovery few minute back to error timestamp.

    But IBM PMR Team can help you more in this. There is option to restart database excluding error object tablespace.
