    Unanswered: ASP.NET and Access 2007

    Hello, I'm new to ASP.NET but have had lots of experience with Access... I would like to build a website that includes data manipulation just as I've done in Access many times (i.e. connect to the database, write some SQL, put data into a recordset (is there an equivalent in ASP?), manipulate it and write it back to the database. Would anyone have a clear example of code used to do this using ASP.NET? I can connect through a wizard but would like to handle everything with code. Also, there are so many options to choose from in Visual Studio I'm not sure where to begin. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

    But because you're accessing Access, not SQL Server, you'll need to firstly change the connection string. You can look up connection strings at: - Forgot that connection string? Get it here!

    P.S. yes, I know it's an early version of .NET but it is just a starting point for you to look at
