    Unanswered: Need an example geographic query.

    I need an example of a geographical query in T-SQL dialect for an article. I happen to like the classic “Given a map and my location, find the (n) nearest pubs to me”, but if you have a better one, I would be happy.

    Thanks, I got what I needed. This is for an article on how different products embed the Open GIS standards in their SQLs (extended SQL, OO style API, function calls). I was not trying to do something with it.
