Unanswered: Getting error with transaction log issues

    Hi all,

In our setup db2 V9.7 with fixpack 4

Facing issues with the loading the data's through Data Stage.

People's from datastage are running the jobs parallely. It contains only 6000 records.

    Getting the error :
    =============

    DB2_TIS_LOC_SCRNLN_NODE,3: DB2 reported: SQLSTATE = 40506: Native Error Code = -1,476: Msg = [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUXX8664] SQL1476N The current transaction was rolled back because of error "-911". SQLSTATE=40506

Checked with the log files also

    First log archive method (LOGARCHMETH1) = VENDOR:/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/nbdb2.so64

It means archival logging is enabled.

    Log file size (4KB) (LOGFILSIZ) = 20000
Number of primary log files (LOGPRIMARY) = 50
Number of secondary log files (LOGSECOND) = 50

But the user's are getting this error how to avoid this error?

    Thanks,
    laxman..

    has nothing todo with logging
    SQL0911N
The current transaction has been rolled back because of a deadlock or timeout. Reason code reason-code.
    reason code indicates timeout/rollback
    SQL0911N
maybe diaglog keeps additional info.. maybe diaglevel 3->4

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
