And what is he content of this "DAT" file?

If you just want a file with the date and row count of 'DAT' file, do this:
    Code:
     echo "`date +%Y%m%d` `wc -l <DAT`">DAT.ctl
The person who says it can't be done should not interrupt the person doing it. -- Chinese proverb

    Hi LKBrwn_DBA,

    Thanks for your reply.

DAT file content is consist of rows of data to be extracted and pass to WareHouse. Control File will be the file which consist only Date Created and No of Data be extracted. Between is it possible to write all in Stored Procedures without write shell in another scripts?

You can use the UTL_FILE package to create both files.
