Question Unanswered: create multiple folders with one schema

    Hi all...
Since m new to postgresql, I got stuck on one problem. The problem is as follows:
I want to create a separate Folder in postgresql itself, in such a manner that under that particular folder, respective tables should be formed.

Eg: I have raster as well as vector data & I want to create vector data folder in which only vector data is saved. Similarly, for raster data, I want to create raster data folder such that only raster data should be saved.

Please help me what to do, and how to do!

A question: what's the reason of this particular requirement?

There's no way to do that directly.

A separate schema should solve this nicely, since one schema can see the other while they both belong to the same db.

And if it's absolutely imperative to have one schema only, use some kind of prefix for table names and make your program access them by prefix.

    I don't understand the question.

In a relational database you don't create "folders", you create tables.

What exactly are you trying to do?
I will not read nor answer questions where the SQL code is messy and not formatted properly using [code] tags:
