    Unanswered: Issues with increase the tablespace size.

    Hi all,

    In our setup db2 v9.7 with fixpack 4

    Issues with increase the tablespace size.

    Tablespace with the size:
    -------------------------

    Tablespace ID = 4
    Name = TSN_REG_STG1
    Type = Database managed space
    Contents = All permanent data. Regular table space.
    State = 0x0000
    Detailed explanation:
    Normal
    Total pages = 163840
    Useable pages = 163808
    Used pages = 163808
    Free pages = 0
    High water mark (pages) = 163808
    Page size (bytes) = 32768
    Extent size (pages) = 32
    Prefetch size (pages) = 32

    Tried with the command to increase the tablespace size

    db2 "ALTER TABLESPACE TSN_REG_STG1 EXTEND (ALL 100000)"

    Getting the error :
    -----------------

    DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a
    valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned:
    SQL1524N The request cannot occur until all applications in the instance are
    aware of the new database partition server. SQLSTATE=55077

    How to increase the tablespace pages?

    Thanks,
    laxman...

    Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
