    Can you tell me how to check db2 version and fix pack without using db2level?

    shamikp, depending on the version of DB2 you have, you can use the System Admininstration SQL:

    SELECT *
    FROM SYSIBMADM.ENV_INST_INFO

    Another easy way, which works for both DB2 servers and clients is by running the command
    db2level
