    Unanswered: DB2 8 charset IBM 432

    Hello,
I'm new here but I'll try to explain my situation. We have a DB2 8 with charset IBM 432. Is there a way to change charset to UTF8 ?
I tried to create a new DB with charset UTF8 and migrate data from DB with IBM 432 but unsuccessfully.
    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance,
    Renato.

Have you tried to export/load data from the 432 to UTF-8 db? If this isn't working, you could create a UTF-8 db then use SQL replication to replicate data from the source db to the utf-8 db.

    DB2 8 charset IBM 432

    Hi James123,
I did almost everything you said. I've created the DB with charset UTF8 and in DB2 control center I copied one table of DB with charset IBM432 to DB with charset UTF8 and it seems that the data is in the correct format now. Thanks for the help.
    My English is horrible.... =(
    =)
