Unanswered: How to rerun an eventmonitor

    Hi,

I have noticed that, one of an event monitor is in Inactive state. That event monitor contains the information regarding deadlocks. First I need to know that why it has been in Inactive state. What could be the cause of it?
And what should I do, in order to activate that event monitor. How to rerun event monitor?

    Thanks in advance.

It may have been defined as to stop after collecting certain volume of data.

File event monitor will deactivate when maxfiles has been reached.
After restarting the instance, event monitor will be inactive by default.
