Hi,
I have db2 v8.2 on Linux server.
The Linux has 2 processors .
when i run the order : db2licm -l,
i get this :
[db2inst1@hhl-rgwsdb11 ~]$ db2licm -l
Product Name = "DB2 Enterprise Server Edition"
Product Identifier = "DB2ESE"
Version Information = "8.2"
Expiry Date = "Permanent"
Registered Connect User Policy = "Disabled"
Number Of Entitled Connect Users = "5"
Enforcement Policy = "Soft Stop"
Number of processors = "2"
Number of licensed processors = "1"
Database partitioning feature = "Not entitled"
Annotation = ""
Other information = ""

Product Name = "DB2 High Availability Disaster Recove ry Option"
Product Identifier = "DB2HADR"

Other information = ""

Product Name = "DB2 Advanced Security Option"

My question is :
Is the line "Number of licensed processors" whow the number of cpu using by DB2 ?
DB2 Enterprise Server Edition using all cpu in mashine just if this parameter is setting correctly ?
What is the way to insure the number of CPu that using by db2 ?
