    Unanswered: Constraints in 10g

I had to remove all the columns of a table apart from the first. This included deleting the PK cols as well. Upon doing so although I got a message that the PK cols could not be deleted, when I refreshed the right hand pane in the schema browser in TOAD, the PK cols were not to be seen. The only column remaining was the first one which also happened to be a PK column.

Now the issue is, when I look at the PK constraint, there's nothing there. So even though I didn't delete the constraint, it's vanished from 'Toad' and not even present under the 'Constraints' tab.

Any ideas which view can help identify the object?

Might I add that I dropped the index:

succesfully and re-created it but still cannot see it in Toad. The Constraint tab contains nothing.

Those who live by the GUI; die by the GUI.

I don't know what you have.
I don't know what you do.
I don't know what you see.
It is really, Really, REALLY difficult to fix a problem that can not be seen.
use COPY & PASTE so we can see what you do & how Oracle responds.
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.

OK, next time I'll try and do as you say. On this occassion I just re-created the PK from within the GUI.
