Unanswered: Save data using single form!

Hi, I would like to save a personal information from a single form to the database using the vba coding on a save button. For example, a new employee has been hired and his/her personal information (Lastname, Firstname, Birthdate, Address, etc) must be saved to the database by clicking the save button.

Can anyone could please help me, just new in using MS Access. Thanks!

With a Bound Form, there's no need to have a 'Save' button, in Access. Moving to another Record, Closing the Form or Closing Access, itself, automatically saves the data. This is the way it is intended to be done in Access.

If you just have to have a 'Save' button, either

    DoCmdn Command acCmdSaveRecord

    If Me.Dirty Then Me.Dirty = False

    will work; your choice.

In the first code you'll need to close the space between DoCmdn and Command. (This is a quirk of the site; don't ask)

    Linq ;0)>
    Hope this helps!

The problem with making anything that fools are so darn ingenious!
