I created a script to make my admin server a windows service. I successfully made it a service but when it starts it then shuts itself down. i ran a debug and found a error. I dont get what to do. I have tried changing the variables in the script and try it over and over again .....here is my script code and here is the error i got from debug output:

    script

    SETLOCAL

    set DOMAIN_NAME=FRClassicDomain

    set USERDOMAIN_HOME=C:/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/FRClassicDomain

    set SERVER_NAME=FRweblogic

    set WLS_USER=FRweblogic

    set WLS_PW=hidden

    set ADMIN_URL=http://hidden:hidden

    set JAVA_VENDOR=Sun

    set JAVA_HOME=C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.7.0

    set PRODUCTION_MODE=true

    set MEM_ARGS=-Xms512m –Xmx512m

    call "C:/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/FRClassicDomain/bin/setDomainEnv.cmd"

    call "C:/Oracle/Middleware/wlserver_10.3/server/bin/installSvc.cmd"

    ENDLOCAL

    my debug output:

what does any of this have to do with Oracle DB which is the TOPIC of this forum?

well lets see. I am using "ORACLE" weblogic server 11g that also is running "ORACLE" forms and reports on a windows 2008 server. So arent these equivalent to an "ORACLE DATABASE," hence why i have posted this topic in this forum.

I am trying to make my adminserver of my "ORACLE DATABASE" start as a windows service so when the server starts or is ever shut down and needs to be restarted, it will start and loginn to the adminserver automatically.

I hope i answered your question and if you any other questions please ask away -__-

I can see why you'd think that, but it isn't the case at all.

Oracle owns WebLogic, and Oracle created a Forms product, but the company that owns those products is the only connection that they have to the Oracle database.

It is possible that someone with WebLogic experience might see your question here in the Oracle forum on DBForums, but the odds aren't extremely good that they will. I'm not a WebLogic expert by any means, but my first guess would be to check out Web Hosting Talk - The largest, most influential web hosting community on the Internet to see if they can shed any light on the subject, then I'd visit the Oracle website, and after that I'd try a search engine like Google.

    additional info

    I am running:
    windows 2008 server
    oracle weblogic server 11g
    oracle forms and reports
    JDK 1.7

I am trying to make my admin server start as a window service. Basically i want the adminserver to automatically start itself when the server/computer is turned on and also if for some reason it is turned off it will automatically restart (if this is possible).

Problem & solution have NOTHING to do with Oracle DB.
Root cause & solution is strictly a Windoze issue!
Please go SPAM some other forum with this problem.
