Unanswered: Question for the select statement from the two db2 databases

    Hi all,

In our setup db2 V9.7 with fixpack 4

Question for the select statement from the two db2 databases.

Peoples from Datastage asking to fetch the records from two databases from different tables. By using the single connection of the database.

Peoples are connecting the databases through datastudio.

Need to write any script for this?

    Thanks,
    laxman.

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.

    activate federated in dbm cfg
look for commands : create wrapper - create server mapping - create user mapping - create nickname
    see infocenter for details...
federation between non-db2 servers is a billable feature..
