Unanswered: Searching for practical SQL problems

I am new to sql and am searching for practical sql problems...ideally with solutions. Does anyone have any good suggestions? One place I tried was programmerinterview. I liked that site but they only have a few problems. The good thing about the site was they had a problem statement then they explained it.

I have read books on sql where they show you how to do something and give an example but that is not exactly what I am looking for. Since I don't have job experience I am looking for a real world problem statement.

Unfortunately for most of the DBAs that I work with, the problem statement is usually something like "App XYZ is broke again." They almost never specify the server, database, or anything more specific.

Developers get specifications like I see on interview sites. Is that what you want?

Read questions in forums like this or Stackoverflow, try to solve them yourself and compare your solution with those posted as answers.
I will not read nor answer questions where the SQL code is messy and not formatted properly using [code] tags: http://www.dbforums.com/misc.php?do=bbcode#code

    Learning from the beginning

Thank you everyone for posting. Maybe I should be asking how you guys started learning SQL from the early days?
How did you start and what would you do if you were me today?

My goal is to create more complex queries and build my sql skills.
